Cyphermint, Inc., a privately owned New York corporation, headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts, is the leading provider of secure electronic payment solutions. Tavrichesky Bank of Russia began research in 1996 toward an eCommerce based, bank-to-customer payment processing system. In analyzing the available payment alternatives, it became readily apparent that a new approach was required to satisfy market demand for a safe, anonymous, fast, and effective payment system for the Internet.
The design team began the development and implementation of the Cyphermint PayCash™ System in 1997. By 1998 an early version of the PayCash System was developed. In 1999, an extensive pilot project with a major international bank was successfully implemented. Since 2001, when the U.S. Headquarters was established, the Cyphermint PayCash System has been adapted and modified to comply with U.S market standards and demographics, and with U.S. Federal requirements.

Our Technology
The Cyphermint PayCash System supports a number of different companies, merchants, or any "customer" wanting to conduct an eCommerce transaction over the Internet. The Cyphermint PayCash System allows local and global banking with support for over 255 different currencies. All providers working with the Cyphermint PayCash System accept this "digital currency" for monetary obligations with the full security of a 1024-bit RSA blind signature algorithm and audit trails of the Internet transaction between the buyer and seller. The features include: highly scalable, server-based logging, recovery, and accurate ad targeting. XML purchase protocol handles cash and credit payments uniformly, securely. Content management system distributes display media to kiosks for fast performance.
Our Software
The PayCash System eCommerce Suite can turn a simple ATM machine or other kiosk into a center for financial services, shopping, and advertising. Even consumers who have never used a computer before will be able to buy products and services from selected Internet merchants through these kiosks, using either cash or credit cards. The software utilizes Cyphermint's core technology, the PayCash System, to provide an unmatched level of security, so both merchants and consumers are protected from fraud, identity theft, and privacy incursions. Financial services may include bill payment, check cashing, payday loans, person-to-person funds transfers, and other online services such as lottery, maps, news and the weather.
